RETIRED ATLANTIC HURRICANE NAMES (SO FAR)

The World Meteorological Organization's six lists of hurricane names for the Atlantic region recycle every seven years, unless "a storm is so deadly or costly that the future use of its name on a different storm would be inappropriate." These are the Atlantic storm names retired since the system began in 1950 (men's names weren't added until 1979).
