There is a 5th dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space & as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. It is the dimension of imagination. It is an area we call the Twilight Zone.
  1. Where is Everybody?
The show's pilot! A man in a deserted town can't remember who he is and can't figure out where everyone has gone
  2. Time Enough at Last
One of the absolute best and definitely the most tragic episode to all the bookworms out there. Burgess Meredith is wonderful in this.
  3. The Hitch-Hiker
Okay this one is hella creepy but it's so, so good
  4. I Shot an Arrow into the Air
After their ship crashes, astronauts can't figure out where in the universe they've landed. Things get worse from there...
  5. The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street
When the power goes out on Maple Street, neighbors start to turn on each other, suspecting everyone around them of being aliens. Paranoia!!! McCarthyism!!!!!
  6. A World of Difference
Is Arthur Curtis an actor?? Or is it just a role he's playing??? WHAT IS REAL???
  7. People Are Alike All Over
This one is so good. An astronaut lands on Mars to find people strangely similar to humans BUT! Something's fishy you better believe it
  8. Execution
A scientist who's created a time machine transports a man from the past into the present — but the man he transports happens to be a cruel & brutish criminal about to be executed for murder, so, oops!!!
  9. A Stop at Willoughby
A disillusioned ad man falls asleep on the train only to wake up in an idyllic town from the past that seems better than his real life in every way. Very Midnight in Paris.
  10. The After Hours
Super spooky, one of the best known episodes. When a woman goes to return something she bought from a saleswoman on the 9th floor of a department store, she's told there is no 9th floor, and she sees the saleswoman, now a mannequin 😬
  11. A World of His Own
This one is great!!! A man who can make anything or anyone come to life by describing it to his dictation machine gets into trouble with his wife. I think the movie Ruby Sparks must be based on this episode??
  12. Eye of the Beholder
Epic. A woman's face is covered in bandages and she hopes that after her latest surgery she'll look normal. But what is "NORMAL???" Deep shit here tbh
  13. Nick of Time
AKA William Shatner and the fortune-telling machine of doom
  14. A Most Unusual Camera
A great episode. When thieves get a hold of a camera that shows the future, they take it to a horse race to take a picture of the scoreboard. But yo things get UGLY
  15. A Penny for Your Thoughts
When a penny lands on its edge, a man starts being able to hear other people's thoughts, and realizes the hidden lives of the people around him and the lies they tell
  16. The Lateness of the Hour
First of all, how good is the title of this episode??? Second of all this one is about sentient robots which are v on trend rn and it is incredible
  17. The Odyssey of Flight 33
A pretty well known episode, where a plane going too fast ends up back in time during prehistoric earth. Speeding up again, they travel into the future, but not far enough. Ah, the wonders of time travel!!!
  18. The Midnight Sun
It's gettin' hot in herre (so hot)
  19. The Obsolete Man
Burgess Meredith as a bookworm again!! Now a librarian in a futuristic society where he's on trial for being obsolete and believing in God. Yikes!!!
  20. Once Upon a Time
A grumpy Buster Keaton travels in time! Also very Midnight in Paris
  21. The Trade-Ins
An aging couple decide to trade their bodies in for "younger models" but they only have enough money for one of them to have the procedure. Youth, amiright??? Surprisingly sweet!!!
  22. Printer's Devil
Basically the under appreciated 90s show Early Edition where Coach Taylor gets the newspaper a day early!!!
  23. Nightmare at 20,000 Feet
    😬😬😬😬😬 this one'll spook ya
  24. A Kind of a Stopwatch
This is one of the best episodes they made!! Obnoxious man attains stopwatch that freezes time — what could possibly go wrong???
  25. A Short Drink from a Certain Fountain
This one's about an older man married to a much younger woman who tries to take a youth serum to keep up with her. It's pretty okay. But isn't the title incredible?
  26. Number 12 Looks Just Like You
Pretty much the plot of Scott Westerfield's Uglies series: everyone undergoes a surgery to transform into one of a selection of beautiful, identical bodies. Commentary!!! On!! Society!!!!!!
  27. The Masks
    Just terrifying tbh
  28. Thanks for making the world a little stranger, handsome.
This meeting of the Rod Serling Appreciation Club is now over.
