A wise and wonderful friend suggested I write down what I am grateful for and include 2 things I did well that day. This is a tool for beginning to heal from a very big loss.
  1. My beautiful daughters. They are two happy, healthy, silly, kind, normal little girls. I'm blessed.
  2. My cat, Ruthie. She mostly just wants to eat. She isn't super mushy. She stays near me all of the time but she doesn't lie on my face or put her butt up my nose. We have our own language and we chat a lot.
  3. My sweet husband. He is my best friend and my favorite person. And he likes Marvel. He also makes coffee and cleans the bathroom. Don't be jealous.
