1. Celluloid bliss. A 16mm trip to heaven
  2. Rooney Mara and Cate Blanchett give some of the best performances I've ever seen
  3. They don't steal the show, but offer some of the most delectable glances and subtle movements I've ever seen
  4. The cinematography is beautiful, frames are layered wonderfully in frames, we see the characters longingly through fogged windows, fantastic close ups and inserts
  5. The score is chilling, I haven't stopped listening to it
  6. The story is a beautiful love story and had me cheering and screaming internally, like how my grandmother used to watch soap operas
  7. Todd Haynes direction is immaculate
  8. I will see it again. I need to.
  9. Best film of the year
