LESSONS I'VE LEARNED ABOUT ADULTHOOD THIS YEAR

I've officially been a twenty-something for four months now and boy have I learned some things. Here are a few.
  1. No one knows what they're doing, regardless of age
  2. People will always remain themselves, including the less than great parts, regardless of age
  3. There's no one set or "right" way to get to a career, everyone has a different path
  4. You're the only person that can make decisions for you
  5. You're in charge of your own time and the way you use it--and subsequently, any problems that arise from a misuse
  6. Not everyone will like you. That's okay
  7. You will mess up. It will be okay
  8. You will never know everything there is to know about everything, no one does
  9. It's okay to question why you want the things you want in life, that's probably a good thing
  10. No one is immune to a mid-college career crisis
  11. You're allowed to change your mind
  12. Be yourself, even when it's hard
  13. Try to become the best version of yourself
